The Good Sense Founders have had a personal stake in the Tribeca Film Festival (TFF) since its inaugural year. 14 years and 15 festivals later, we are proud to include them among our flagship clients.

APRIL 2013 | TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL

The 2013 Festival gave Robert De Niro his first photo op with a cat, as feline internet sensation Lil' Bub made the rounds following a smash screening at the Tribeca Drive-In. Meanwhile, Brooklyn rockers The National tore down the Highline Ballroom with an intimate performance following the premiere of doc "Mistaken for Strangers" at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center. Also at TPAC, Darren Aronofsky went toe-to-toe with Clint Eastwood for a remarkable installment of Tribeca Talks.

The biggest highlight came with the closing night screening of THE KING OF COMEDY, where three Hollywood icon made a once-in-a-lifetime appearance, ending TFF2013 with an unforgettable night.

Known for its foresight into the reality television culture, "The King of Comedy" is one of those now-classic films that didn’t seem to get the love it deserved upon its original release. That night, however, it got its due.  At the screening of the newly restored 30th anniversary print, Martin Scorsese and Tribeca’s own Robert De Niro celebrated the film’s legacy, along with a special appearance by Jerry Lewis.
