APRIL 2017 | SUPERHUMAN KIND

Held at the Tribeca Film Festival Hub at Spring Studios, TDIA 2017 traced the evolution of human intelligence through a prism of global community, compassionate capitalism, social justice, and oppositional artistry, culminating in a fascinating look at the ways Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technologically-assisted Human Intelligence (HI) will define humanity's future.

Honorees include Not Impossible founder Mick Ebeling, designer Tory Burch, activist and musician Daryl Davis, Kernal founder Bryan Johnson, cult author Fran Lebowitz, and the leader/guitarist of classic rock band The Byrds, Roger McGuinn. The show concluded with an illuminating conversation between IBM Watson chief David Kenny and producer Alex da Kid about the world's first ever musical collaboration between an artist and an artificial intelligence platform.
