NY PopsUp: Hope & Revival
From Feb-August 2021, Good Sense & Co. partnered with New York State and artistic director Zack Winokur to produce an ongoing festival of popup performances across New York City and State.
With 300 free public performances over six months - NY PopsUp helped to revitalize the spirits of New Yorkers and provided a spark for the revival of live arts and entertainment. Our COVID-compliance team worked closely with the NY Department of Health to develop new protocols for staff, performers and audiences, paving the way for the cautious reopening of live events in NY.
BROADWAY RE-OPENS! The vision and diligence of the program paid off historically on April 2, 2021 as Broadway opened its doors for the first time in over a year for a NY PopsUp performance by Tony winners Savion Glover and Nathan Lane.
We remain so grateful for the trust to pull off this ambitious program and the opportunity to bring hundreds of jobs to event industry professionals and to provide a stage for so many incredible artists.
