Google's #teampixel influencer event was held at the super-hip and slightly-hidden downtown venue Chinese Tuxedo. Guests were given personal, hands-on demos that helped them unlock the full power of the Pixel... over strong cocktails, of course. Attendees got a chance to explore using LENS, which brings up encyclopedic data on a subject based on an image search; they snapped sophisticated shots using PORTRAIT MODE on the Pixel camera; and they plastered AUGMENTED REALITY STICKERS from Stranger Things and Star Wars: The Last Jedi atop real-time photos and videos to hilarious effect.
